From high end dog crates to designer seating, these are just some examples of one off pieces I have built for my customers over the years. Some are built to serve a purpose – perhaps where a limited space means that no off the shelf furniture will fit. Others are built for beauty – where existing options fall short of the clients aesthetic aspirations.
Examples
Reception Desk – Red Lime Hair & Beauty
The owner of the salon asked me to design a reception desk to fit the available space. He wanted it to have concrete counter tops and use reclaimed timber for the cladding.
Side Table
This customer had an existing table with an inscription from her father underneath. She asked me to design a contemporary table using as much of the material from the old table as possible.
Bench Seat
This was made to measure for an entrance porch. Pictured before it was painted. I had a cushion made for it using genuine Harris Tweed at the customers request.
Showroom – Fatstick Paddleboards
I was asked to create a display space with racking for this local paddle board brand. The deck is reclaimed timber and I painted the logo onto the deck with a stencil before adding the topcoat.
Chic Dog Crate
I must have started a trend because these are everywhere now, but at the time you couldn’t buy a crate that looks nice enough to go inside the house. This one was hand sprayed in brilliant white and has chrome bars.
